Calamus(Sweet-flag) was used in incense mixtures in ancient Mesopotamia and by the ancient Egyptians in their kyphi mixtures. Calamus is also known as 'sweet reed' or 'sweet flag'. Calamus root is said to strenghten the nerves, improve energy and be helpful during times of exhaustion and good for Vata balancing in Ayurveda. Perfectly safe for inhalation and the environment.
